Dear Andy and Cindy,

I am not sure if you will ever have a chance to read this letter that I wrote you but, in my heart and to god ifound this was the right thing to do in order to pay my respects to the both of you, lauren, cayden, braylin and kyron. My heart is with you in your time of loss. I appologize for my lateness in my letter I just didn't quite know how to say how I felt nor did I have any idea what to say to you, I knew to say I am so sorry for your loss but, deep down I wanted to say somthing more meaningfull something more sincere. I wanted to tell you Lauren was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen her smile could warm even the coldest heart, anyone who saw Lauren could not help but, smile including myself. I did attend Laurens funneral to pay my respects and I did truly love Lauren. Laurens loss is one I shall never forget losing Lauren, has greatly effected me and many others in the Fountian Inn and Simpsonville area and anyothers who may have known Lauren. I was very depressed with Lairens death sad it effected me for weeks maybe even months my friends noticed but I still don't believe anyof them knew why, accept for god. I had relized how much change one person can make in the world. Even though Lauren could not literally speak she spoke through the heart which to me speaks far beyond regular speaking, for when you speak through the heart you speak through the soul. When you speak through the heart you can speak to some one who is deaf, blind or just hasn't quite found themselfs yet. Lauren touched me in so many ways I could not write them all down on this note. Andy and Cindy you are amazing, loving parents and you truly gave Lauren the best life and home that she could have had. I wish you the best and that I am here anytime you need some one if you ever do, as much as Lauren has touched my life you have as well when I grow up my dream is to be as wonderful as a person as you have been.

Cindy and Andy, You and your family are heavy on my heart often. I was so blessed to have known Lauren and loved her. She will be greatly missed but we rejoice in knowing we will see her again. Hi there...I came across Lauren's website and blog through Isabel Jurado's site. I live in Rock Hill & know the Jurado family from my son who has Cerebral Palsy allowing him to have been in a couple of summer school sessions with Izzy, who is also in the same elementary school as my daughter. Anyway, I just wanted to extend our family's thoughts and prayers to all of you on the loss of your precious angel. May the Lord keep His arms wrapped around all of you now and in the days to come.

How heartbroken I am for this news. As i returned home from vacation, afraid to see the paper I soon realized your heartache and Laurens liberation into a pain free eternity. Over the week as I was gone, I checked into work (GMH) to get a status check, however my co-workers were unable to give me any news. I noticed Cindy's time of her blog, one of hundreds of nights I am sure you are awake , heart heavy. Lauren was a wonderful, loved girl as you were wonderful loving parents and siblings. I am so thankful that you have your faith to lift you up and engulf you at this time. I so wanted to be there to be at her life celebration. I was so blessed to be a part of Lauren's Memorial Service. I had only physically met Lauren one time and that was this past March at Special Olypmics. I saw Colleen and went over to say hi to her and she introduced me to Lauren. I grabbed her hand and introuduced myself and she gave me the greatest smile. I will never forget that. She was a blessing to many I know, because she blessed me that day. I will be praying for you and your family as you go down this road that God has mapped out for you!!!!

Hi, Cindy and Andy. I am Cindy McBride's mom and just wanted you and Andy to know that we have been holding you and your family up in prayer during this difficult season you have been going through. I can't imagine what you have been going through for all these years, knowing your child could be dying and it being out of your control. But God was and still IS in control, and I know your lives have been a blessing to others and will continue to be throughout all eternity. I told Cindy I knew her grandparents were waiting to welcome their little one with open arms - as was her Savior!!

And before too long, we will get to meet her there - can't wait until you can introduce me to your precious child!! We have a little girl waiting on us there as well...I've had a vision of her and can't wait to see her!!

You and Andy are precious to my Cindy and Eddie and their family, as you are to us. We will be making a donation to your wonderful Lauren's Hope Foundation in honor of little Lauren. Praise God for your loving hearts for children around this world that are suffering with this horrible disease...I feel in my heart that God has a cure right around the corner for His precious children!!

I just learned today of your loss and my heart aches for you and your family. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Lauren, however I could tell from reading your articles and seeing her pretty photos, that she was a very special & beautiful little girl whom touched many lives! Your website was forwarded to me today by a friend and I spent most of today reading it. I didn’t stop until I had read the entire site! You are truly amazing and inspirational. I was so sadened to get the call from Terri Saturday of Larens's passing. My heart breaks for you. Your family has been such a Testimony to all of us. The love and faith you have in Jesus Christ is so great and it shows. Lauren may be gone from this earth, but her "precious smile" will forever live in our hearts. We had no idea what was wrong at the office when we received a call that Jerry needed to change his appt. What heartbreak when we heard your little girl had gone home to be with Jesus. From what I have read and heard she was such a blessing to everyone she came in contact with. I wish I had met her but will have to wait to see her in heaven.
